Installing DokuWiki
This page is only about installing DokuWiki, and if you want to have a working install, we recommend to check the page about page about dependencies before continuing.
For this install guide, we got our sources mainly from the official DokuWiki's install pages, and will only cover our case with a Debian 11 server and nginx as a web server.
0. Meeting the requirements
First thing is to meet the requirements on our server, which we already do as we prepared the terrain on the setup page. To quickly recap, having a web server and PHP 7.2 at least (we have PHP 8+ as recommended by DokuWiki's official documentation).
