-=== Hardware setup ===+====== Hardware setup ======

 +==== The RasPi ====
 +
 +For the board, I opted for a Raspberry Pi CM5116032. This model designation reads as follows :
 +  - CM5: The form factor / generation, compute module gen 5
 +  - 1: WiFi & Bluetooth
 +  - 16: The amount of RAM in GB
 +  - 032: The size of the eMMC present on the board, in GB once again.
 +
 +So this board is pretty much the best money could buy. Firstly I opted for a CM5116064 but the vendor had an availability issue because of the early 2026 shortages, so I had to get the model right under.
 +
 +Since the OneUp does not have a RJ45 port, and has an antenna, I chose to get the board with WiFi.
 +
 +Although this system seems like the best choice, I will have problems later-on during the firmware setup...
 +
 +==== Dedicated Storage ====
 +
 +Considering 32GB of storage is pretty short, I opted to get myself a Gen 3 NVME SSD, as it is supported into the OneUp, with 1TB of storage. Once again I would've liked a little more storage but the prices went crazy for 2TB and more. 1TB is still plentiful for experimenting around.
 +
 +This storage will not be separated in many blocks, it'll be a single large storage for /home, and it'll be encrypted.
